Dr. Dave McIntyre is a nationally recognized strategist, analyst and teacher specializing in national and homeland security. For more than 20 years his focus has been why some nations succeed, why some fail, and how to craft national strategies for success.
Dr. McIntyre was appointed a member of the National Security Education Board by President Bush in June 2008, and subsequently confirmed by the US Senate. He is a senior advisor to the congressional Commission on the Prevention of Weapons of Mass Destruction, Proliferation and Terrorism. He serves on the National Board of Directors of the InfraGard National Members Alliance, a public-private partnership with the FBI, and as Academic Advisor to the University and Colleges Committee of the International Association of Emergency Managers. He also served on the Steering Committee of the Homeland Security / Defense Educational Consortium Association.
