Dr. Louis L. Fletcher

Director of Troy University’s Western Region


 

Dr. Louis L. Fletcher spent 20 years in the United States Air Force prior to becoming the Director of Troy University’s Western Region. Dr. Fletcher originally hails from Washington, D.C. and during his 20 year Air Force career he served all over the world in locations such as South Korea, Greenland, Germany, Greece, and France. Dr. Fletcher has a rare mix of Space and Nuclear operations expertise and Educational Leadership. He has led operations and education in the Space and Nuclear Safety, Operational Test and Evaluation, Integrated Tactical Warning and Attack Assessment (ITW/AA), Missile Warning, and Intercontinental Ballistic Missile (ICBM) disciplines. He is also experienced in international relations, strategic planning, post secondary instruction, research, and scholarly publication. In his final active duty assignment he was the Dean of Air Force Space Command’s Advanced Space Operations School (ASOpS) in Colorado Springs. He leverages his broad portfolio of experience and education to lead Troy University’s Western Region.
