The HS/HD Career Summit II is presented by the National Homeland Defense Foundation in collaboration with Homeland Security Careers. This year’s co-host is the Center for Homeland Security at UCCS. The HS/HD Career Summit II will be held November 9 -11, 2009 at the Broadmoor West Ballroom in beautiful Colorado Springs.

The HS/HD Career Summit II will provide participants an exclusive opportunity to explore options to create a sustainable career in the HS, HD and Emergency Management communities.

The Summit brings capabilities and requirements together, matching individuals with experience, education, and talent with the needs of the public sector and industry to enhance the security of the United States. Suggested participants include transitioning military, first responders, and others that are motivated to build a better, more secure future for our communities and our nation. Attendees will hear from leading experts in HS, HD and EM about current and projected career requirements, as well as meet with government and industry leaders that are looking for the next generation of homeland security career professionals.

1:00 – 2:30 pm – Veteran’s Day Celebration Luncheon The speaker will be Gen. Richard D. Myers, USAF (ret.) the 15th Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff.
Also appearing will be the US Army 4th Infantry Division Band, and veterans from WWII and other US Conflicts.

Purchase Tickets to the CAPSTONE event at the HS/HD Career Summit is the Veteran’s Day Celebration Luncheon. This event will be held in the International Center of the Broadmoor and will feature the US Army 4th Infantry Division Band, a prominent speaker, and veterans from WWII and other US conflicts. This luncheon is one you will long remember.
